A Beautiful Sunflower Field in Eastern Columbus County
Experience a Columbus County you may not know by seeing it through the eyes of teen girls who each shares her own unique story of living in the region... from life in a Native American community to interviewing grandparents, to sharing original poetry, art – and much more.
"Where I Come From" is Part I of an ongoing digital project from Coastal Youth Media in collaboration with Community CPR, located in Columbus County, N.C.
This project is funded in part by a grant from South Arts in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts and the North Carolina Arts Council. With additional funding from North Carolina Local News Lab Fund.

Our mission is to engage community members in volunteerism and in
"neighbors helping neighbors" while connecting people in need with resources that will help them in mind, body, and spirit.

Currently, CCPR is open only by appointment We are doing limited food and resource distribution and delivery.
