Day 1

In 2020, we wanted to highlight some of the CCPR impacts in our community...

We called it:

❤️ 14 Days of Community Love.❤️


Did Your Know...
Community CPR served more than 600 households in the year following Hurricane Florence?

We do it as we: Serve. Advocate. 

Volunteer and Educate. (S.A.V.E).  

Day 2

Did You Know:
Community CPR helps host the yearly Hurricane Preparedness Expo with the help of Columbus County Disaster Response, Catholic Charities & UMCOR and others.

We are Stronger Together as We
Educate our Community... (S.A.V.E.)

Day 3

Did you know:
Community CPR has provided jobs and job training through the NC Works and Cape Fear COG (Council of Governments) programs, giving those stricken by disaster a way to provide for their families and help their community.

We serve as Neighbors Helping Neighbors when we Advocate & Educate within our Community.

Day 4

 Did you know:
Community CPR hosted more than 160 volunteers from all over the country who have given 2,500+ hours of services in the year after Hurricane Florence?

Did you know:
Community CPR helped more than 1400 people in need in 2018-2019 who had experienced recent or accumulated trauma.

Our mission is: to engage community members in volunteerism and in "neighbors helping neighbors" while connecting people in need with resources that will help
them in mind, body, and spirit.

 

Day 6

Did you know:
Community CPR serves on the Columbus County Disaster Response’s Long Term Recovery Group, Resilient Columbus, Unify Columbus and more. Key groups that help our community prepare for and recover from disasters.

Did you know:
Community CPR daily helps community members find jobs, shelter, food, heat, clean water, supplies and more by connecting them to our resources and/or other organizations who can help.
